Now that Christmas is over and the decorations are put away, I start to think about re-organizing things in my house.I decided to re-organize jewelry that I have. I found this picture frame with the chicken wire attached at a consignment shop. I thought it would be a great way to organize my costume jewelry. I hung the frame in my walk-in closet so it is  easy to access when I am getting dressed. I used Christmas ornament hangers to hang the jewelry from.

Christmas Memories

As I was thinking about decorating for Christmas this year, I wanted to do something different on my staircase handrail. I decided to purchase fresh pine garland, add some small LED lights, and garland with red and white pearls. Usually  I hang the family stockings from the mantle on our fireplace but this year I wanted to do something different with them. A couple weeks before I started decorating I had gone into a resale shop near my house. They had a small Christmas tree with a few ornaments on it but they had also had added old family photos. It gave me a great idea! I came home and started digging through photo albums. I decided to choose a picture of my kids, grandkids, husband and myself from when we were young. I used small wooden clothespins that you can find at the craft store to attach them to the garland.
